Vet Clinic
The primary mission of Eglin Veterinarian Services
is for the healthcare of our military working dogs
stationed at Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field.
The clinic is also open to active duty and retired
military pet owners. The clinic provides specialized
care for pets, including rabies vaccinations, general
immunizations, heartworm checks and outpatient treatment.
The clinic provides limited surgeries (spays, neuters,
feline declaws, mass removals) and dental cleanings
for pets approximately twice a month.
The Vet Clinic offers the HomeAgain microchip identification
system for pets. The system consists of the scannable,
implanted nontoxic microchip and enrollment in the
American Kennel Club's Companion Animal Recovery database.
The facility is located on Cherokee Avenue near
the east end of the flight line.
