Private Organizations

Any private organization or squadron wishing to raise money on Eglin are required to coordinate their fundraiser through the 96th Services Squadron NAF Accounting Office.

Below is an easy step-by-step guide to assist you through the process of sponsoring a successful fundraiser on Eglin:

  • All fundraisers on Eglin AFB must be approved by the 96th Services Squadron Deputy Commander (96 SVS/SV).  To allow sufficient time to obtain all the necessary approvals, requests need to be submitted 30 days prior to the event.

  • There will be no fundraising on the installation during the AFAF and CFC, unless they are to raise funds solely for these campaigns.

  • Listed Private Organizations and Unofficial Activities may conduct 2 fundraisers per calendar quarter.

  • It is the responsibility of the individual designated fundraiser “point-of-contact” (POC) to furnish the appropriate supporting documentation with their fundraiser request.

  • You must stop by Bldg 18C, room 107 to schedule your event and to obtain your approval documentation.

  • Upon approval, you will be notified and are then required to pick up the fundraiser license that must be present at the event.

  • Car wash fundraisers are on a first-come, first-serve basis and can only be conducted in one location on base, near the Commissary.

  • All fundraisers involving food must be coordinated with Public Health (883-8612).

  • Approval must be obtained from the building custodian of the site of the event, if applicable.

  • If requiring off-base solicitation, the fundraiser POC is required to present a solicitation letter to the NAF Accounting Office, which will then submit it to the Legal Office (882-4611) for approval.

  • If your fundraiser is to be conducted at the Eglin Bowling Center or Golf Course, a coordination letter from that respective facility must be submitted.

  • Government computers are not to be used to send e-mails about Private Organizations, unofficial activities, fundraising, events, etc. Organizations that are authorized to use government e-mail are not authorized to "advertise" for those who do not.
