Golf Course

The Eglin Golf Course offers 36-holes of championship golf. Open year-round, it's ranked 1st in AFMC, 3rd in US military courses and 61st among the thousands of great Florida courses. The course is located 4 miles east of Eglin's East Gate in Niceville. The Golf Course complex consists of 450 acres with 250 acres of fairways and greens and two separate courses - the Eagle and the Falcon. An astounding 100,000 rounds of golf are played per year. The facility offers a wide range of services including the Pro Shop, automated carts, locker storage, rental equipment, lighted driving range, a chipping green and two practice putting greens, one of which is lighted. There are rain shelters on both courses and a lightning warning system has been installed for golfers' safety.There is an Intramural Golf Program, a PGA Teaching Professional who heads the Eglin Golf School, as well as clinics, private lessons and a club repair service. Junior golf programs, a personal handicap system, and an automated tee time system are also offered. The Golf complex hosts many special events, tournaments and local community events.

Food services include the Club House Snack Bar, cocktail bar, beverage and snack carts on the course and catering for special functions for up to 125 people. The snack bar and lounge offer the golfers an opportunity to relax for that mandatory hole-by-hole discussion after the game. Breakfast is served 7-days-a-week. An extensive snack bar menu is available daily with hot lunch specials offered on weekdays.

The Pro Shop carries a great selection of golfing equipment and apparel. Choose from names like Ping, Callaway, Cobra and many more. Professional assistance is available to help you make a selection for yourself or your favorite golfer. Show your Eglin club card for a 10% Members First Plus discount on personal purchases in the Pro Shop and snack bar.

The Eglin Golf Course is located in Niceville on Highway 85.
