The Eglin Child Development Program is a comprehensive service, which consists of three locations, and provides the following: Full Day Care; Hourly Care (Based on Availability); Florida Universal Pre-Kindergarten; and Preschool Program for Department of Defense families and contractors assigned to Eglin AFB.

Ages of children served are 6 weeks to 5 years. Hourly drop-in care is available from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in both main child care centers. The centers are DoD Certified and currently seeking National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) re-accreditation and accreditation status.

Nutritionally balanced meals and snacks are served at no extra cost to parents.

Both Child Development Centers are conveniently located just off of Eglin Parkway in the main housing areas.
